Leadership Rounding ToolThe purpose of Leadership Rounding is to build relationships, trust, and culture in your organization. Research has found that staff often leave organizations because of their supervisor. Leadership Rounding is one helpful way for supervisors to engage with staff and build meaningful connections. While rounding, leaders are intentionally interacting with team members in a way that supports and engages individuals, recognizes accomplishments and quality work of individuals and teams, and models behavior that is true to the organization’s values. Through interesting exercises and productive homework, they will learn how to actively contribute to those around them and bring out the best of themselves and others. They will learn to create trust amongst their staff and colleagues while recognizing the need to promote a culture of mutual respect. As the participants build their skills and competencies, they will be encouraged to practice what they have learned within their respective organizations. The primary goal of this program is to have each participant grow into their best selves allowing them to further the aspirations of their organization and the broader field.
