As a follow up to our last roundtable meeting, we will use some of the time on our agenda to discuss Falls Prevention Programs in Assisted Living.  We ask that members come prepared to share their community’s policies/practices/programs related to falls risk assessment and prevention.  We will be asking members to speak to their successes as well as any pain points or concerns they have about the program that they have in place.  This will be an opportunity for members to learn from one another, and for LeadingAge MA staff to learn how to best support members in the area of Falls Prevention moving forward.  If there is a staff person at your community who would be well suited to addressing this topic, please share this invitation with them. Please send any specific questions or concerns to Elissa Sherman at [email protected].
